Just imagine that time is non-existent and you are temporarily frozen in the moment. Nothing else matters while you let the stress of the day drain from your body, leaving your whole being refreshed and healed.

The more you practice mindful living, the easier it will come to you. Try not to be critical of yourself. The reason it is called “practicing” is that our experiences are eternally evolving and no one has them down pat. There have only been a few living guides in history who were self-actualized. The rest of us continue our practice of peaceful meditation without judgment—only compassion.

You will also increase the benefits of mindful living when you practice gratitude. It has been said that joy comes not from having what you want. It comes from wanting what you have. When you surround yourself with cleansing thoughts and a mindful attitude, you experience healing in body, mind, and soul. It is a gift that is found by living in the moment.
